I was fortunate to have been testing SOURCE since the beginning of the beta test phase, and I was blown away with the features, how clever and simple it is, the new layouts that could be achieved but above all by the preformance in RapidWeaver Edit and Preview mode that SOURCE makes possible.
The SOURCE code is tiny compared to Foundation or Foundry or other Frameworks, and this makes a big difference that you will notice. SOURCE projects are quick to load, edit, preview, publish and ultimately super quick for the end user.
Source has a small number of stacks that you need to get familiar with. There are really just 2 stacks - Grid and Container that need understanding. This really speeds up the time required for users new to Source to get to grips with Source.
The design possibilities with the SOURCE Grid and the flexible image options means that SOURCE can build pages that cannot be built in any other framework.
SOURCE is very well thought out and is in no way dumbed down for the user to use pre configured inflexible layouts. It is also simple to use once you understand a few basic things and that's why there are 2 Tutorial pages in Project20 here.
SOURCE is created by Shakingthehabitual and can be downladed for FREE here.
